中国保险学会简介
中国保险学会( The Insurance Institute of China )成立于1979年11月,会址设在北京市,是从事保险理论和政策研究的全国性学术团体,是保险界和相关领域的有关单位和专业人士自愿结成的非营利性社团组织。接受业务主管单位中国保险监督管理委员会和社团登记管理机关国家民政部的业务指导和监督管理。
中国保险学会的宗旨是:遵守中华人民共和国宪法、法律法规和方针政策,遵守社会道德风尚,积极探索中国特色的保险业发展规律,践行科学发展观,坚持正确的改革与发展方向,开展保险理论和政策研究,组织学术交流,促进保险理论的繁荣和发展。
中国保险学会的职责是:
(一)组织会员开展保险理论和政策研究,举办研讨会、报告会、展览会和专题论坛等活动,促进保险界的学术交流、信息沟通和成果分享。
(二)编辑和出版刊物、建立和维护网站,宣导保险法律法规和方针政策;组织编写保险图书及其他文献资料;普及保险理论知识,开展保险宣传活动。
(三)开展保险理论和政策研究方面的教育培训;受政府委托承担科研成果鉴定;提供保险咨询服务。
(四)经政府有关部门批准,奖励在保险理论和政策研究、学术创新和教学方面取得突出成就的单位和个人。
(五)研究介绍境外保险经验,组织和推动中国保险界与国际保险界及内地与港、澳、台地区的学术交流与合作。
(六)与相关学会、行业协会等社团组织加强沟通、开展合作。
(七)承办政府职能转变中移交或委托的其他工作,开展会员欢迎、社会认可的其他活动。
中国保险学会的最高权力机构为会员代表大会,理事会为其执行机构,常务理事会是理事会的常设机构,对理事会负责。
中国保险学会常设办事机构为学会秘书处,内设办公室、保险研究中心、期刊和信息部、会员服务部、教育培训部五个部门。为更好开展各项工作,设立《保险研究》编委会。
《保险研究》为中国保险学会会刊,创刊于1980年,是我国目前向海内外公开发行的唯一一份国家级保险理论刊物。学会内刊《保险研究-实践与探索》,努力追随保险业发展的脉搏,针对保险业发展与监管中的热点、重点、难点问题进行了政策与实务的积极探索。《保险资讯》,凭借其资料性、可读性、时效性,在传递关键资讯、解析政策动向、透视热点问题等方面发挥重要的信息参考作用。学会网站是学会展示形象、功能和作用的窗口,是国内外了解中国保险业基本情况和发展动态的渠道,是会员单位沟通信息和交流经验以及学会面向社会普及保险知识进行消费者教育的平台。
中国保险学会自成立以来,围绕章程所确定的工作任务,利用学会资源优势和功能作用,积极发挥桥梁纽带作用,在开展保险理论研究和学术交流,组织教育培训和促进人才培养等方面做了大量有益的工作。学会将继续在中国保监会的领导下,深入贯彻党的十七大精神,全面落实科学发展观,解放思想,与时俱进,开拓创新,扎实工作,不断促进保险理论创新和繁荣,为政策研究服务,为保险业又好又快做大做强发挥学会应有的功能作用。
An Introduction of “The Insurance Institute of China”
Founded in Nov. 1979 in Beijing, The Insurance Institute of China (IIC, hereinafter)was designed in the position of national-wide nonprofit organization, engaged in insurance academic research and policy-making analysis. The IIC is consisted of companies and specialists in insurance and other related fields, and supervised and conducted directly both by China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) and by national society management organization – the Ministry of Civil Affairs of PRC as well.
The tenet of the IIC is, in compliance with the Constitution, laws, regulations and policies of the PRC, complying with the social morality, actively exploring the China characterized development rule of insurance industry, practicing the concept of scientific development, insisting on the right direction of development and revolution, undertaking the study of theories and policies on insurance, organizing academic exchanging, and accelerating the prosperity and development of insurance theory.
The responsibilities of the IIC are as follows:
1.To organize the members to study the insurance theories and government policies, and to improve the information exchanging and sharing by holding seminars, exhibitions and special forums.
2. To propagandize insurance law, related regulations, policies, and to popularize the knowledge of insurance with various measures, such as organizing the writing of insurance books and other kinds of literatures and information, theories. To edit and publish journals, set up and maintain web site.
3.While undertaking the training programs on insurance theories and policies guided by authorization or commission, the IIC is in charge of appraising research work and providing insurance information service.
4.To set up prize for individual or groups having outstanding achievement in the study of insurance theories and policies, academic innovation and school teaching after approved by the relevant government departments.
5.To strengthen the international communication and co-operation on insurance experiences including of which the areas Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan.
6.To conduct the work of provincial insurance institutes which join the Insurance Institute of China initiatively, enhancing communication and co-operation between related institutes and associations.
7.To undertake the work committed or transferred from due to the government function changing, take charge of other activities which is welcomed and recognized by members and public.
IIC has an effective organization arrangement. As the general conference of IIC members being designed as its highest authority organ, the Board of Directors is its executive agency.
The Secretariat, the IIC standing office, is organized by five departments: the Department of Management, Insurance Research Center, the Department of Journal and Information, the Department of Member Service and the Department of Education and Training. To better carry out the work, the IIC also set up the edition panel for the journal of the Insurance Studies.
As the official publication of IIC, the Journal of the Insurance Studies was initially published in 1980 and is the only national level journal specializing in insurance academic research published publicly both to domestic market and overseas. Follow the pulse of the insurance industry, the journal of Insurance Study - practice and exploration, actively explores the policy and practice of key and difficult issues during insurance development and regulation. The Insurance Information is an internal communicating journal which is oriented as an important reference journal by providing abundant information with the character of latest and readable. Analyses for the administrative policy tendency and hot insurance issues are also included. The website of IIC, a window laying out the image, functions, style and characteristics of IIC, is an important channel both to help people to touch, to find out, to know more about the insurance industry and its development in China and to help IIC members to communicate each other as well. Furthermore, the website also serves as a platform popularizing insurance knowledge to consumers.
Since established, the IIC has actively been exercising its bridge function, devoting itself to a great deal of significant works both in the field of insurance academic research and communication and in the field of education and training as well under its working purposes which had been laid down in the Articles of IIC. In future, The IIC would like to study and implement the concept of scientific development, to emancipate the mind, to seek truth from the facts and to advance with the time of which are the spirits of the Seventeenth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. In particular, the IIC would like to improve its function to provide better support both to the innovation and prosperity of the insurance industry in China and to the academic research and government policy making as well.
